Hot Chinese Mustard

1/4 cup dry mustard
2 tablespoon cold water or flat beer

Put dry mustard in cup or small bowl. Gradually add cold water, stirring until thoroughly mixed. Make only a small amount needed at a time, for it dries on standing. Source: Spices of the World Cookbook - McCormick
