Chilli Fried French Beans > Imran

450 gm french beans, topped, tailed
1 and cut in half
1 1/2 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 garlic cloves, crushed
6 red chillies, finely
1 chopped
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil

Blanche the beans, then drain and refresh under cold running water. Set a wok over high heat for 30 seconds, pour in the oil and wait until it is hot. Turn down the heat to moderate, then put in the garlic and red chillis and stir-fry until fragrant. Put in the French beans and stir well. add the soy sauce, sugar and Stir-fry for about 3 minutes, until the beans are well seasoned. Sprinkle with sesame oil and serve. From: "Imran C."
