Steamed Spareribs With Dau See

1 lb spareribs, cut into 1-inch
1 lengths
1 1/2 tablespoon dau see (chinese black
1 beans), rinsed
2 centiliter garlic, minced
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/4 cup soy sauce

Place spareribs in a heat resistant dish. Mash dau see; combine with remaining ingredients. Add to spareribs and mix well. Place in a steamer, cover, and steam for 30 min.
