Onion Beef (Yan Can Cook)

2 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon dry sherry
2 teaspoon sesame seed oil
1 teaspoon cornstarch
2 tablespoon oil
1 centiliter garlic
1 inch piece ginger, chopped
1 lb beef, cut in 2 wide strips
1 medium onion, sliced
2 green onions, chopped
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/4 cup broth
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon water

Heat wok. Marinate beef in mixture of soy sauce, sherry, oil and cornstarch. Add 2 tablespoon oil to hot wok. Add garlic, ginger and beef. Cook 1 1/2 minutes over medium high heat. Remove. Add sliced onion to wok. Cook, then add beef back in. Add chopped green onion for color. Cook. Combine soy sauce, broth, mixture of cornstarch mixed with water. Add more soy sauce, if desired.
