Hot Spicy Bean Curd
chinese, garlic, main dish, tofu, vegetarian
2 tablespoon oil
2 green onions, chopped
1 teaspoon garlic, chopped
1 green chilies, chopped
1 tablespoon salted black beans
1 lb bean curd, cubed
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1/2 cup stock
1 teaspoon cornstarch dissolved in 1 - tb wate; r
Heat oil in a wok & fry the onion, garlic & chili for 30 seconds. Add salted beans & bean curd, fry gently till bean curd turns golden. Add the rest of the ingredients & cook until the sauce thickens. Serve hot over noodles or fried rice.
