Plum Sauce

Well, as for a Recipe....it doesn't exist. It's all in my head, and when I go to make it, just happens. *:) I start with Baby food. yes I buy Junior Baby Food Plums From there I add white vinegar, peach chutney, Hot chutney (if you don't make your own chutney, the next best thing is a brand called Sherwoods) then I use cornstarch or arrowroot for thickening, some hot chili pepper powder and just make it to taste. Sometimes I add some molasses...it all depends on how I feel when I'm preparing it. I wish I could offer more detailed "amounts", but that's just the way I do it. You'll get a 'feel' for what you want the finished sauce to taste like, each time you try it. All of a sudden, one day you'll say, that's the best one I've ever made....and you keep the ingredients in your head (or written down) ! Have fun! From: BOBBIE KOPF
