Use soy sauce or light soy sauce. Don’t use dark soy sauce. To make dish appetizing, make sure the color of the marinade is in a light color.
If you don‘t like alcohol, add a little to reduce the alcohol aromatic. The feature of alcohol is to remove fishy smell and make mantis shrimp tender.
The marinade can keep mantis shrimp fresh for a long time. But do not add tap water or oil in it, or the marinade will go bad soon. You can enjoy mantis shrimp any time, but make sure marinade should be clean and clear. If it goes bad, the marinade has floating oil and not clear.
