Flour – Different Flours Used In Different Parts of China

Easy flour recipes are common in China. However, in different parts of China, they use different types of flour to prepare the best flour recipes. For instance, when you take the case of the Southern part of the country, they use rice flour. On the other hand, in the south-western part, they use sweet potato flour.  In the northern part, people use wheat flour. To make flour, other things like potatoes, corn, mung and buckwheat are also used in the country. The purpose of flour in any Chinese dish is to increase the thickness of the dish. Even, in some non-vegetarian recipes, the Chinese use flours.

When you intend to prepare flour home recipes and particularly Chinese dishes, you can use any of the flours mentioned above. Some of these flours can soften some of your dishes, while some can harden your recipes. So, based on the recipe you prepare, you should decide on using the right flour. To make flour recipes at home, you should first have the flour. You can find different flours readily available in stores. Nevertheless, you can make them at home too. But, to do this you should have an efficient mixer grinder in your home. Even, if you have this type of grinder, you will sieve the flour once again to get the flour in a nice texture.
