Cantonese Roast Chicken is a Cantonese dish. You can find it in every Chinatown all around the world. Usually, restaurants hang roast chicken In the shop window. Indeed, it is everything your taste buds desire. This Chinese chicken recipe offers your basic steps and cooking method. The key to this dish is the seasoned soy sauce. Of course, you can use other sauce instead.

Tips:

1. In step 5, the boiling water must be hot to make sure chicken skin is slightly cooked. It makes skin tender and shiny after roasting.
2. In step 6, make sure the seasoned soy sauce is dried to color the chicken. Evenly rub chicken skin with the seasoned sauce can prevent too salty.
3. You can use other sauce to replace soy sauce, such as teriyaki sauce, Hoisin sauce and other sauce you like. You will always have a surprise when open the oven.

Cut to open the chicken belly, remove the internal organs. Wash and clean.

Rub the whole chicken with soy sauce (Or seasoned soy sauce). Hang the chicken at a ventilated place to let the sauce dry.  You can dry with an electric fan if you desire.

Preheated the oven to 210 ℃. Then put the chicken inside and roast for 30 minutes. Serve.
