White Fungus and Red Date Pigeon Soup Recipe

Tips

1. Add 1-2 ginger slices to remove bad smell, but do not add too much, because it may cover the light sweet taste of red dates.

2. Blanch pigeon and pork until medium well before simmering. It can remove the blood and bad smell as well. However, it can also result in nutrition loss.

Remove pigeon’s hair and organs. Wash and clean. Cut lean pork into thick slices.

Soak white fungus until soft, then tear into pieces. Wash and clean red dates.

Add water to a skillet. Bring to a boil. Add white fungus, pigeon, lean pork honey dates to the skillet. Cook over a small fire for 2 hours. Serve salt and chicken powder. Serve.
