Chinese Sesame Paste Pancake Recipe
Sesame paste pancake cheap but never compromise of its taste. It is a popular snack for breakfast. It has golden brown skins and meaty fragrance. You definitely should try this.
1. Cut the dough into small strips. Small pancake looks better than a big one.
2. Brush round pancake before topping sesame. Otherwise, sesame is easy to be cooked and will drop from pancakes.
Add a little warm water and yeast into the flour. Knead and let it ferment until double its size. Knead the dough until smooth. Roll out into a flat round dough.
Spread sesame paste evenly on the dough. Sprinkle with a little salt, roll up, then cut into strips. Fold in half and hide the cut inside. Press and make a small round pancake.
Brush each round pancake with a little water and sprinkle sesame seeds on it.
Preheat the oven to 180℃, add the small round cakes, bake for about 20 minutes. Serve.
