Tips

1. Use coconut water to stew the quail to have a wonderful taste. Coconut water is sweet, it makes the meat to be fresh and tender. Also, it is good for skin and daily health.

2. Some of the coconut meat is hard, it is only for seasoning. It might not be tender after stewing.

Remove quail’s feather, organs, wash and clean.

Take out the coconut meat from the hard shell, and cut into pieces. Soak white fungus into the water for 1 hour, tear into small pieces. Rinse and clean red dates

Add water to a stew pot. Bring to a boil. Then add all ingredients and stew over low heat for 3 hours.  Season with salt. Serve.
