Stewed White Lotus and Figs with Abalone Soup
Stewed White Lotus and Figs with Abalone Soup is a functional soup that improves our immune system and is good for skin and liver. To make the soup healthy as well as medical functional, we adopt dried abalone to bring seafood taste. Red jujube, white lotus, figs are the main dietary therapy ingredients that add a little sweet and fresh taste. Then, simmer all ingredients for 2 hours to integrate all taste into a tradition Chinese abalone soup favor.
- To improve the health function, serve the soup when it’s hot.
- Soak white lotus in advance to make it soft and stewed. If not, stew more time to let it spread its flavor and taste to the soup.
- Use dried abalone to add more flavor. Do not use fresh abalone, because it might have a fishy taste in this recipe.
Prepare all ingredients and seasonings.
Soak dry abalone in the water for 24 hours.
Wash all the ingredients, split in half. Put them into 2 small stews pots.
Add water to the stewing pot.
Cover. Select the soup option. Simmer for 2 hours.
After simmering, add salt for seasoning. serve.
