Steamed Coriander and Taro Bun Recipe
Do you like coriander and sweet potatoes? This easy bun recipe combines assorted vegetables to achieve balanced nutrition without compromising the taste.
- You can use a mold to make the buns in any shape you like.
- If you don’t like too sweet, add less sugar, or do not add sugar.
Mix flour and baking powder. Pour into a circle. Add sugar, yeast, and water in the middle area.
Add taro flavor salad oil in the middle area. Stir until sugar melt.
Knead into a dough and make it smooth and tender.
Use a plastic wrap to cover the dough and let it rest for 20 minutes.
Divide the dough into small doughs, about 30g each. Flatten the dough with a rolling pin. Set aside.
Mince all stuffing ingredients and move to a bowl. Add all stuffing seasoning into the bowl and mix well.
Use bun’s skin to wrap the stuffing.
Make it into buns’ shape. Place into a steamer. Let it rest for 20 minutes.
When the buns turn bright, use high heat to steam for 8 minutes. Serve.
