Ants On The Tree (Fried Chili Noodle) Recipe
Ants On The Tree is a typical Han’s dishes. It tastes delicious and easy to do.
Put noodle in the water. Soak for more than 20 minutes until soft. Make sure do not put in water too long, otherwise, the noodle would be too soft .
Soak noodle in warm water for 20 minutes. (You can use sweet potato noodles if you desire). Soak until soft. Set aside.
Minced onion, ginger, and garlic. Prepare minced meat, noodles, Pixian DouBan paste, and set aside
Add oil to the pan. Preheat the oil. Then add minced onion, ginger, and garlic. Fry until fragrant.
Add Sichuan Pixian bean paste and stir-fry until fragrant. Continue to stir-fry until the red oil come out. Add minced meat and stir-fry until color changes.
Add noodle and stir evenly with chopsticks.
Simmer for 5-10 minutes on medium heat until juices thicken.
Plate and garnish with green onions.
