Cucumber Pork Bone Soup Recipe
This soup has an effect on the weight loss feature. It offers enough nutrition and protein for dieting purposes. If you want to have fewer calorie intake, all you need to do is to remove excess floating oil. The soup is healthy with strong pork meat background.
400g pork bones
300g lean pork
50g red dates
20g honey dates
1 dried tangerine peel
1. The tangerine peel can have a sweet and salty taste after simmering. Discard it after simmering if you don’t get used to its taste.
2. Use old cucumber to have a better taste. Because old cucumber is tougher than fresher one, it may not be too soft after simmering.
Wash and clean pork bone, then cut into small pieces. Blanch until slightly cooked. Cut lean pork into slices and blanch until medium-well.
Wash the cucumber and cut into large pieces. Wash red beans and dried tangerine peel, soak into cold water until soft.
Add water to a skillet, bring to a boil. Then add pork bone, lean pork, cucumber, red dates, honey dates, and dried tangerine peel. Simmer over low heat for 3 hours. Add salt for seasoning. Serve.
