- 100g Chinese toon sprouts
- 1 egg
- 50g flour
- 40g cornstarch
- 2g baking powder

1 Done 10 minutes | Mix flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Break into an egg, stir evenly and then add a little water. Stir until thicken and become a paste (For the best thickening, the paste mixture should flow like liquid. Control the water amount to prevent too thin or too sticky). |
2 Done 10 minutes | Add to water to a pot. Bring to a boil. Turn off heat and blanch Chinese toon sprouts for 5 seconds. Remove Chinese toon sprouts from heat and put it into a bowl. Cover and allow the remaining hot to heat for 10 minutes. |
3 Done 5 minutes | Uncover and gently squeeze to remove excess water. |
4 Done 15 minutes | Use chopsticks to pick up the toon sprouts and dip into the paste mixture. Then fry in the over medium heat. Fry individually to prevent overcooking. |
5 Done 5 minutes | After all toon sprouts cooked, fry all of them again over high heat. Serve. |
