Mix flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Break into an egg, stir evenly and then add a little water. Stir until thicken and become a paste (For the best thickening, the paste mixture should flow like liquid. Control the water amount to prevent too thin or too sticky). |

Add to water to a pot. Bring to a boil. Turn off heat and blanch Chinese toon sprouts for 5 seconds. Remove Chinese toon sprouts from heat and put it into a bowl. Cover and allow the remaining hot to heat for 10 minutes. |

Uncover and gently squeeze to remove excess water. |

Use chopsticks to pick up the toon sprouts and dip into the paste mixture. Then fry in the over medium heat. Fry individually to prevent overcooking. |
