Chinese Braised Chicken Wings With Red Wine
The color of Red Wine Chicken wings is amazing. It is special not only the color but also the fresh and elegant aromatic of red wine. It combines western and eastern taste, which makes it irresistible.
450g chicken wings
20g ginger slices
50ml red wine
light soy sauce
3g white sugar
- Do not use high heat to fry chicken wings, otherwise, chicken wings may be burnt. Fry chicken wings are to make a crispy skin and appetizing color since you will braise it until cooked later.

Wash and clean chicken wings, add the onion slices and little ginger slices.
Add cooking wine, sugar, salt, and light soy sauce mix well and marinate for 15 minutes.
Preheat the wok with cooking oil and fry the chicken wings.
Fry for 1 minute with low heat until golden brown. Drain and set aside.
Add the remaining ginger slices and fry until fragrant.
Add chicken wings, red wine, and a little water. Season with a little salt.
Cover and simmer over medium heat for 1 to 2 minutes until cooked.
Uncover the lid, cook over high heat until juice noticeably reduced. Drizzle sesame oil and stir well.
