- 500g lean pork
- 50g lotus seed
- 30g lily bulbs
- 20g honey dates
1. To remove the bitter taste of lotus seed, make sure to remove the pit of lotus seed after soaking into the water.
2. The soup is perfect for drinking, however, the pork can be less tender, you can discard the ingredients and only drink the soup.
Wash and clean the pork. Cut into thick slices. Blanch in the boiling water until cooked.
Soak lotus seeds and lily bulbs for 1 hour, then rinse and clean. Wash and clean the honey dates.
Add water to a stewpot. Bring to a boil. Add ingredients into the stewpot. After boiling, switch to slow heat to stew for 2-3 hours. Season with salt. Serve.
