Oat Flavour Almond Roll Recipe
For a special almond aroma, this dough roll recipe utilizes the simple ingredients to wrap almond slice. After steaming, the mouthfeel of the almond roll is soft and tender.
50g oat powder
3g bread improver
20g baking powder
100g almond slices
1. Tightly roll the dough to ensure the almond slices will not drop.
2. Do not make the dough too thin or too thick. The too-thin dough cannot cover the almond slices while thick dough has a tough mouthfeel.
Place the flour into a circle. Make a room in the middle area. Add sugar, yeast, oat powder, bread improver, and baking powder.
Stir until sugar melt. Gradually stir in four powder. Knead until the dough is smooth and fine.
Use a plastic wrap to cover the dough. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
Use a rolling pin to flatten the dough.
Place almond slice on the dough.
Roll the dough into a long strip.
Cut into 45g small doughs.
Place the dough on a steamer. Let it rest for 20 minutes. Use high heat to steam for 8 minutes. Serve.
