Kitchen Tips

Pay attention to the amount of water when adding to glutinous rice flour. You should gradually add water when kneading the dough. If adding too much water can make the dough too thin; less with water can cause it no sticky.

Add half of the glutinous rice flour into a bowl, add boiling water to make it into a dough ball. Add warm water to the rest of the glutinous rice flour and make it to a dough ball as well. Knead the two doughs into a dough and let it rest for 20 minutes.

Roll the dough into long strips and divide them into small pieces. Make each piece into a small dough ball.

Add water to a skillet, Bring to a boil. Add rice cakes, small dough balls, and Goji for stewing. Add a little white sugar for seasoning. Enjoy!
