Ingredients
- 150g bacon
- 200g green pepper
- 50g bamboo shoots
- 50g honey fungus
- green onions
- minced garlic
- minced ginger

- 15g chopped pepper sauce (Hunan Chopped Red Chili)
- 15ml soy sauce
- 15g white sugar
- sesame oil
- salt
- water
- cornstarch

Tips:
- Steam bacon until soft. Bacon has lots of fat. The steaming process helps remove excess fat and it prevents oily feeling after cooking.
- Stir-fry chopped pepper sauce before adding other seasonings. This process makes all ingredients aromatic.

2 Done | Wash and chop the green peppers, Cut into diamond pieces; Cut bamboo shoots into small pieces. Wash honey fungus. |
3 Done | Add oil to and preheat the pot. Add green onions, minced garlic, and ginger, stir-fry until fragrant. |
4 Done | Add chopped pepper sauce, fry until red oil comes out. Add bamboo shoots, honey fungus and a little water to stir-fry. |
5 Done | Then add bacon, green pepper pieces stir fry evenly, seasoning with soy sauce, sugar, salt. |
6 Done | Use another bowl, mix cornstarch and water. Then pour into the pot. Cook until soup thickens. |
7 Done | Remove to a plate. Drizzle sesame oil on the top and serve hot. |
