Ingredients

Marinade for Beef
375g beef sliced thinly into bite sized pieces
1 egg
2 tbsp water
1 tbsp cornstarch
1.5 tbsp oil
1 cup cooking oil
1/3 tbsp salt
1 tbsp cooking wine
2 garlic cloved then crushed
1/2 cup chicken broth
750g broccoli flowers removed, slice into thin slicde
Sauce
a few drops sesame oil
2 tbsp light soy sauce
3/4 tbsp dark soy sauce
1 tbsp sugar
2.5 tbsp oyster sauce

Simple and easy Chinese Beef with Broccoli Recipe at home. This Asian inspired beef and broccoli dish is absolutely delicious. And it is a great winter dinner, it is very filling and goes great with some brown rice. I am sure it will become a part of your regular repertoire. Hope you will enjoy.

Slice beef and mix together marinade ingredients and marinate the beef for about thirty minutes, as 1.5 tbsp of oil to beef and mix well, and marinate beef for another additional thirty minutes, as the beef is marinating.

Prepare the vegetables by adding 1/2 cup water to the pot and a few drops of oil depending on how much is the broccoli. And allow the water to a boil and add the broccoli. Cover and cook until broccoli is cooked through. Drain the wok, and set aside.

Heat the pot and add 1 cup of oil. When the oil is ready, add beef and stir-fry until it is nearly cooked. Remove beef and set aside on a plate. Drain the pot and wipe clean with a paper towel, and set aside too.

Heat pot and add 2 tbsp of oil, add the garlic and stir-fry for about a minute or 2, or until aromatic, then transfer beef into the pot for about 1 minute, add vegetables and stir together to mix, make a well in the middle of the pot and add the sauce ingredients, add cornstarch, stirring to thicken. Mix sauce together with other ingredients. Serve and enjoy tasty dish with a steam rice.
