1. If the mutton odor is very heavy, onions can reduce the annoying odor with its spicy aroma. Thus, onions are an essential ingredient when marinating mutton.

2. The mutton should not be too fat or too thin. streaky mutton is the best for mutton shashlik.

Wash mutton and cut into about 0.5 cm thick, 3 cm square meat slice. Dice onion into pieces.

Mix mutton and onions, add chili powder, cumin powder, cumin seed, white sugar, chicken powder, soy sauce, salt for seasoning. Marinate for 3 hours.

Put tinfoil on a baking tray. Place the mutton shashlik on it. Roast in a baking oven at 200 ℃ for 15 minutes.
