Tips
- Do not add too much salt. No need to add salt if you desire because oyster sauce already has flavor. Thickening make the sauce taste
- If you don’t have chicken soup, you can use chicken powder instead. The purpose is to bring more flavor for abalone.
Steps
1 Done 5 minutes | Wash abalone until clean. Add cooking wine to the chicken soup and bring to a boil. Blanch abalones in the chicken soup for 2-3 minutes. |
2 Done 10 minutes | Wash rapeseed flowers. Add salt and a little oil to the water and bring to a boil. Blanch rapeseed flowers until slightly cooked. Spread and place on the bottom of a plate |
3 Done 10 minutes | Add oil and preheat the pot. When the oil is hot, fry scallion strips, ginger slice until golden brown. Discard the ginger and scallion. Keep the oil for later use. |
4 Done 15 minutes | Add 1 tablespoon oyster sauce. Add chicken soup (or chicken powder), white sugar, seasoned soy sauce for seafood, cooking wine, a little salt and mix well. Add abalones to the pot. Heat the pot for 3 minutes. Then place the abalones on the put on the rapeseed flowers. Keep the sauce for later use. |
5 Done 10 minutes | Use another bowl, mix starch and water. Pour into the sauce, boil until sauce thickens. Pour over the abalones. Serve. |
