Stir-fry Pork with Bamboo Shoots and Mushrooms

Tips:

  1. Steam bacon until soft. Bacon has lots of fat. The steaming process helps remove excess fat and it prevents oily feeling after cooking.
  2. Stir-fry chopped pepper sauce before adding other seasonings.  This process makes all ingredients aromatic.

Steam the bacon in a steamer for 30 minutes, Cool and slice.

Wash and chop the green peppers, Cut into diamond pieces; Cut bamboo shoots into small pieces. Wash honey fungus.

Add oil to and preheat the pot. Add green onions, minced garlic, and ginger, stir-fry until fragrant.

Add chopped pepper sauce, fry until red oil comes out. Add bamboo shoots, honey fungus and a little water to stir-fry.

Then add bacon, green pepper pieces stir fry evenly, seasoning with soy sauce, sugar, salt.

Use another bowl, mix cornstarch and water. Then pour into the pot. Cook until soup thickens.

Remove to a plate. Drizzle sesame oil on the top and serve hot.
