Chinese Spicy Braised Shrimp Recipe

Chinese Spicy Braised Shrimp Recipe

Spicy Braised Shrimp has a thick taste with rich nutrition.  Shrimp is juicy with a little spicy. The recipe maximumly keeps the seafood flavor and mix it with Sichuan pepper to improve its taste thicken.

Tips

1. Fry shrimp until medium well and remove from heat immediately. This process enables shrimp to absorb soup juice and then spread its flavor among the whole dish.
2. In the last step, do not simmer until soup run out. The thicken soup makes shrimp juicy and enhance the taste.
3. Add dried red pepper in Step2 if you like spicy. No worries, in this way it won’t be too spicy but only more strong shrimp taste.

Remove the root and old leaves from the green onions, wash and drain. Then cut them into small strips. Remove the ginger skin and battered the ginger.

Wash Sichuan pepper and boil for 5 minutes with hot water. Let it cool and remove the Sichuan pepper. Move the Sichuan pepper soup to a bowl.

Cut off the shrimp whiskers, mouth, and shrimp feet. Cut from the back of the shrimp. Remove the sand vein and wash.

Put the shrimp in a large bowl, pour in the Sichuan pepper soup and mix well.  Soak for 10 minutes.

Add oil and preheat the wok. When the oil is hot, fry shrimp until medium well. Remove and drain oil.

Use the remaining oil to stir-fry spring onion strips and ginger until aromatic.

Add soup stock, season with white sugar, soy sauce, salt, cooking wine. Boil the soup, then add the fried shrimps.

Simmer over low heat until the soup is about 1/3 left. Add chicken powder and mix well. Serve hot.
