Hedgehog Shape Bun Recipe
This is a lovely hedgehog shape bun that everyone loves. It uses simple ingredients and it is fast and easy. Kids will love it definitely.
15g baking powder
30g lotus paste
30g black sesame
- When use scissors to cut the dough, do not cut it too tight or it may break the buns.
- You can use black sesame paste as stuffing instead.
Mix flour and baking powder in a bowl. Add yeast and sugar in the middle area.
Add water and stir until sugar melt.
Stir in the four powder to make it a dough. Knead the dough until smooth and tender.
Use a plastic wrap to cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.
Divide the dough into small doughs, about 30g each. Divide the lotus paste into 15g each.
Flatten the dough into bun skins. Use bun skin to wrap the lotus paste as the stuffing.
Use scissors to cut the dough into Hedgehog buns.
Place the hedgehog buns into a steamer. Use black sesame as hedgehog’s eyes. Use high heat to steam for 8 minutes until cooked.
