Tips

1. You may find plantain herb in Chinese Pharmacy. However, you can also get this herbal from grassland, garden or park. The plantain herb can be found everywhere, but make sure you know how it looks like.

2. Add chicken powder to the soup for better taste.

3. You can drink soup only if you don’t like the taste of the plantain herb.

Use salt and starch to run pork tripe until clean. Wash and clean lean pork, then cut into cubes.

Wash and clean plantain herb, job’s tears and red bean.

Add water to a skillet. Bring to a boil. Then add all ingredients to the skillet and simmer for 3 hours. Use a small fire to simmer and cover the lid. Season with salt. Serve.
