Shrimp Flavor Crown Daisy and Bean Curd

Tips:

1. In Step 7, do not add too much soup or the dish will be less tasty.

2. When adding soup to oil, be careful. The oil and water will splash. You can switch to low heat and cover with a lid to prevent splashing.

3. Crown Daisy is special so that not everyone like it. You can blanch it longer to reduce its special favor.

Remove crown daisy’s root. Wash and drain. Cut into pieces. Blanch in boiling water until slightly cooked.  Remove and set aside.

Cut tofu into small pieces. Blanch until cook through. Remove and set aside.

Put shrimp paste into a bowl. Stir in egg liquid. Mix well. Then add flour and stir well.

Add oil and preheat the pot. Stir-fry shrimp paste over heat, until fragrant. Remove to a bowl.

Add more oil to the pot and fry bean curd until golden brown and crispy skin. Remove and drain oil.

Use a little remaining oil to fry minced green onions and ginger until fragrant.

Add chicken stock and bring to a boil. Add chicken powder and white pepper powder. Stir and mix well.

Pour in the fried shrimp paste mixture. Add the diced tofu and stir-fry until tasty.

Add diced crown daisy to stir-fry well. Sprinkle with sesame oil. Serve.
