Steamed Tofu With Fresh Shrimp And Cuttlefish

Steamed Tofu With Fresh Shrimp And Cuttlefish

Tips:

1. In step7, put in the steamer after water is boiling. It reduces the steaming time to keep ingredients fresh and tender.

2. The steaming time should between 15-20 minutes to make sure all ingredients are cooked.

3. Do not cut Tofu into small cubes. Otherwise, it is hard to stuff with the minced cuttlefish and shrimp.

Blanch tofu in salt water until slightly cooked. Remove from heat and allow to cool.

Cut into small pieces 5 cm³ cubes.  Cut a small hole in the middle.

Remove the sand vein from shrimps. Wash and clean. Add salt, egg white, and starch. Mix well and marinate for 15 minutes.

Wash cuttlefish. Drain and mince cuttlefish on a cutting board.

Put cuttlefish into a bowl. Add a little salt, chicken powder, egg white, and starch. Stir well until sticky.

Fill the tofu‘ small hole with cuttlefish stuffing. Then insert shrimps on cuttlefish stuffing.

Put it in a steamer and steam until cooked. Then, remove to a plate. Set aside.

Use another pot, add pepper oil and preheat the pot. Add fish sauce and 1 teaspoon. Mix well.

Sprinkle with coriander to the pot. Then pour over steamed bean curd. Serve.
