Coriander and Fresh Shrimp Bun Recipe
For perfect seafood and pork bun, this bun’s stuffing has a well-tested combination. It boosts shrimp and pork aroma with coriander. You will love these juicy seafood pork buns.
Ingredients
500g flour
100g sugar
15g baking powder
5g yeast
150g water
75g carrot juice
Stuffing Ingredients
250g pork
50g shrimp
100g coriander
5g salt
9g sugar
7g chicken powder

Tips
1. Make sure to let the dough rest for 20 to 30 minutes before cutting into small doughs. This method is the key to make bun taste tender.
2. Use streaky pork as the stuffing. It makes buns juicer.
Steps
10 minutes | Mix baking powder and flour. Then flour on a clean work surface. Make it into a circle. Add yeast, sugar, carrot juice, and water in the middle area of the circle. |
5 minutes | Stir until sugar melt. Stir in flour mixture. |
5 minutes | Knead until the dough become smooth and fine. |
30 minutes | Use a plastic wrapper to wrap the dough. Let it rest for 25 minutes. |
5 minutes | Cut the dough into small doughs, about 30g each. |
5 minutes | Mince pork, shrimp, and coriander. Then mix all stuffing ingredients into a bowl. Stir and make it into the stuffing. |
5 minutes | Use a rolling pin to flatten the dough into fat and thin dough. Set aside. |
5 minutes | Use the flat dough to wrap the stuffing. |
5 minutes | Make it into bun’s shape. |
10 minutes | Place the buns into a steamer. Use high heat to steam for 8 minutes. Serve. |
