1 tablespoon shrimp paste
1 tablespoon  flour
1/2 tablespoon chicken powder
a little sugar
100g vegetable oil

Fried Green Beans With Shrimp Paste

In Chinese cuisine, the best cooking method for green beans is stir-frying. A little overcooking can make green beans super tasty, even better than meat. Shrimp paste is the main seasoning in this recipe, which make the dish full with seafood taste. The best mixture of vegetable and seafood flavor.

Tips

  1. You can add light soy sauce before in the last step. It enhances the taste and makes the dish fresher. But don‘t add too much, otherwise, it may destroy the dish.
  1. Make sure the green beans are fully cooked, because raw green beans may lead to food poisoning, such as Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. No worries, fully cooked green beans have only great taste.
  1. When cooking green beans, make sure saute green beans to remove excess water. It is the key to making the whole dish aromatic and full of fresh saute taste.

Put the shrimp paste into a bowl. Beat in the egg and mix well. Add the flour and mix well.

Preheat the wok with vegetable oil. Add shrimp paste mixture and stir-fry until done. Remove to a bowl.

Wash green beans and cut into 2cm long strips.

Preheat the pot. Add water, a little salt, vegetable oil and bring to a boil.

Blanch green beans in a pot, remove and saute in hot oil until excess water run out. Remove and drain oil.

Use the remaining oil to fry chopped green onions, ginger strips, and garlic slices until fragrant. Stir in the shrimp paste mixture, cook until aromatic.

Add the green beans to stir-fry. Season with chicken powder and white sure. Serve hot.
