Sauteed Abalone With Board Bean Paste Recipe

Simple is the best! To add strong sauce taste, we used board bean paste to brings salty and chili taste. We stir fry all ingredients as normal Chinese cooking way, but we replace salt and pepper with board bean paste. Fried ginger, garlic, and board bean paste until aromatic and red oil come out. Add abalone to stir-fry and bring thicken seafood favor.

Tips

1. Remove from heat when abalones are cooked to prevent overcooking.

2. No need to add salt because broad bean paste has flavor and is salty.

3. Add chicken powder and sesame before serving if you desire.

Use a toothbrush to clean abalone, especially the dirt and mud. Then rinse and drain.

Chop scallions and cut ginger into pieces.

Add oil and preheat the wok. Add chopped scallions and minced ginger to stir-fry until fragrant. Add board bean paste(DoubanJiang) to fry until aromatic.

Add the abalone and stir-fry until done.

Top with coriander before serving.
