1. Lotus root plays an important role as a supplement in Chinese food therapy. It helps to improve the immune system and accelerate nutrition intake. Thus, the soup is suitable for children and elderly people.

2. Add 1 garlic and 3-5 ginger slices to simmer together, which can remove the bad taste of pork soup.

Peel lotus root, wash and cut into thick slices. Remove the core of red dates. Wash and clean longan.

Wash lean pork and cut into large pieces. Chop pork ribs into small pieces.

Pour water into a skillet. Bring to a boil then add all ingredients. Simmer over low heat for 2 hours. Season with salt and chicken powder. Serve.
